Hmm..well I was at my lfs and they had two different tanks with adfs. The one tank was 2 bucks the other was 4. The cheaper ones did look smaller. The other ones were in a tank with the clawed frogs, about the same size as them. So I have no idea lol. I didnt get any though. I think I will wait till after my trip,to get any other aquatic creatures. Sorry about your froggies, thepearlfish.

You definitely don't want the clawed ones.

Thanks about my frogs. I think I myself am going to take a break from them for now. They really ARE interesting little creatures though and each have pretty unique personalities :)

Oh okay. What did you feed your frogs? All i saw at the lfs was tadpole and frog bites. I read freeze dried is bad? What if its rehydrated? Like I do for the bettas before they get any fd. I can get frozen if I have to though,no biggy.

I found this website on what to feed and how to care for them. I always feed them those cubes of frozen Bloodworms and they seemed to love them, although one cube is more than enough food for two ADF's and so I only fed them like every other day or so. I guess you can get one multi-pack with the variety instead of JUST the Bloodworms. and just one pack, you wouldn't think would last a long time but it does!

I always give some to my community tank. The Betta and Cardinal Tetras love them (of course they love anything that's food related :P) and when any fall to the floor of the tank. The Corys look like they are slurping up spaghetti noodles. Hehe.

I've read at several places that bloodworms can tear up the ADF's digestive system. That alone keeps me from feeding that to them.
I did read that the HBH Frog and Tadpole Bites are great for them. They are specifically made for aquatic frogs. I found them at my local Petsmart. I plan to use that when I do eventually get my ADFs.
Here is a link to the food: http://www.lotsofpets.com/hbh-frgtadb.html
