Sooo I'm starting an NPT and someone said I needed shrimp, so I was thinking cherries because that's what my store has. Two things: 1. How many shrimp should I get? 2. SHould I get that kind of shrimp?

You dont need shrimp for a NPT, but the can help with tank cleanup. If you want to know how many you can get though, we will need to know your tank size.

22 gallons. If I don't need to get them I probably won't, our petstore sells shrimp realllllly expensive.

Yeah, they are rather expensive. My 3 gallon NPT only has a betta though, definitely doesn't need shrimp.

And if you still wanted shrimp, you could get 10 or so and eventually they will multiply to about 200 within a year or less.

Yeah I don't think I'll get them. Also, I have a question about ordering plants online, I live about five or six states away from Florida, where I want to order some plants, but I'm worried they'd die along the way, is it worth the risk or not?

Plants are pretty good when it comes to shipping, just made sure you get them from a reputable seller. Do it sooner rather than later though if the weather is getting cold in your area. If the tank isn't ready when they arrive, you can just put them in a bucket by a window that gets sunlight for a while during the day.

Well I looked at the sellers reviews and they were all good except one that said they didn't receive the item, but none of them were about plants! I really want to buy this though because it has a lot of plants
