Well now that Ive had the tank cycling for a few weeks, and got my funny smelling water and what not under control, I moved Neptune in.
His tank mates are:
1 Female Dwarf Gourami
1 Male Blue Neon Dwarf Gourami
1 NA Honey SUnset Gourami
4 Scissor Tails
4 Zebra Danios
3 Peppered Cory Cats
2 Golden Chinese Algae Eaters
2 Babies that came in the bag of fish at Petsmart. Think they are guppies.
10 Shrimp. Im convinced there is only 1 in there now.
I was very nervous about putting Neptune in with the Male Gourami. They both acting like pitbulls trying to pick a fight for the first hour then backed off.
Neptune proceeded to just hide in the corners until this morning when he was swimming around like a wild horse.
So things are good now, no one bothers anyone (gourami's and betta eat in the same corner of the tank and just look at each other, eat, then swim off)
Maybe its because he is the biggest fish lol. About 3.5" long from nose to tip of tail. (which is still regrowing)
