Honestly I think it's a little strange, but don't let that stop you There are probably more people that don't think it's strange here so don't worry. I would just warn against feeding bloodworms all day long - could cause digestive problems.

It's not exactly strange, I mean, plenty of people give treats to their fish on normal days. The fish doesn't know it's Thanksgiving but would still enjoy the bloodworm.

I love my dog to pieces ! Would save her next after my kids if my house burned down again.. but I've hardly even done anything like this for her. IDK.. Everyone is different. She gets spoiled in ways that aren't unhealthy for her.. day at the park. I guess a water change would be similar for the betta?

No, I don't think it's strange. The betta may not know what's going on but I'm sure they appreciate the bloodworms nonetheless! They are a part of the family and I do enjoy including them in the celebrations, particularly when the meaning of the day is to celebrate what it is you are thankful for.

I've never done that for fish but there are some times I've bought canned cat food as a special treat or toys for my cats for a holiday.

I wish my dog liked toys. She would rather snack on a small yippy dog for a present lol

Boy, the things we talk about on this forum.
Can't you see we are all just a little strange.
And yes the dog gets presents under the tree.
