Betta toys?

So I thought this would be kind of cool to see what you guys "make" for your bettas? All of my bettas have plastic canvas tubes that I made :) I have found them sleeping in them sometimes

Just a question, hasn't your betta got his pelvic fins stuck in those small holes? Other than that, looks like an awesome idea for bettas to rest near the surface.

They can't get stuck and they just freely swim through them or rest in them

My betta thinks everything that goes into his tank is food.
My hand when I'm fixing something in his tank or doing a water change, bubbles from the filter, anything he catches moving.. he will nip at it repeatedly. So toys that I've tried have been pretty unsuccessful. If I try to float a ping pong ball or a bottle cap, he just nips at it, thinking it's some sort of food.
I sometimes light a tea candle and set it by his tank, he's usually pretty intrigued by it. I've set open books against the glass, and he takes hours inspecting them.

I literally *just* made one after seeing your pic! Do you mind showing us how you attach it to the glass and put it together though? It looks much neater than mine. Thanks for the idea, I'm sure my bettas will love it!

I don't attach it to the glass, I just float them, and I can make a video when I get a chance :)
