I'm very Worried about my Betta...

My betta fish has gotten Fin Rot. I'm mad at myself that I let him catch it. I went to the pet store and got some jungle fungus and aquarium salt. I am fully changing the water every other day, adding the fungus tablet, and salt. its been 4 days, I know nothing really would change but here whats getting me even more worried. when I put him back in the tank, it just started swimming around the edge attacking his reflection thinking is another betta fish. Also he hasn't eaten in 4 days, I dont want to lose him... what else can I do?

I dont think he sees his reflection, he's probably just figuring out the side of the tank and trying to get through it maybe.
He might not be eating because of the stress of the water changes, just keep offering him food and he should eventually eat it...
What you are doing right now should take care of it so just wait a few days and see if there is any progress.

He puffs himself up like he sees a threat or something. I offer him food but he wont take it.

Did you just buy him or have you had him for a while?

I have had him for nearly a year. I bought him as a birthday present for myself.

just a thought, is there any way you can tape a background to the outside of the tank to cut down on his reflection?
