it depends on the shape of the fish bowl ... I have one of the flat faced 2 gallon fish bowls - and for a few weeks I used my duetto 50 on it. - You will have to modify the flow on it though - there's a little moving bit that is located between the media holder and the 'engine?'...

Hey - I've written a lot about the duettos these last few days... I guess I must like them. :)

Lee's sells a hexagonal-shaped under-gravel filter for bowls... They might have them at Big Al's, but I have also seen them in random pet shops (eg. Spuddy's Pet Mart in Maple Ridge).
