I got my new double aquarium stand for my fry, so despite being sick, I'm forcing myself to finish setting it up and get my fry all moved.
So my plan is to put the bottom tank on the stand, fill it up half way with aged water, and then siphon out half of the water from the fry tank, and use that to fill the tank the rest of the way. Then siphon out the rest of the water and move the fry, and move their tank to the top of the stand and set it all back up.
So the point I'm at now is siphoning out half the water to fill the bottom tank. The way I do it is stick an airline tube into the top tube of the sponge filter, so that no babies get sucked up. WELL, somehow, two smaller fry forced their way into the tube also and ended up in the 5 gallon bucket. I have no idea how they even managed that, but somehow they did lol.
Btw, the temp in the bottom tank has already been stabilized at 82F.
Ill post pics later when they're all moved.
