Exclamation heavy gill movement??

my new betta seems to be breathing (moving his gills) really heavily, idk if thats a sign of something potentially bad or what. and help would be appreciated.

yes the water is conditioned. he just seems to be playing in the water currents created by the filter.

Too much current can stress them out. I don't know if this happening to your little guy. I don't have any filtered tanks I just obsessively clean them lol
