ok, I looked at betta talk and it turns out the simtoms fit fungel infection.=( (the spots looked black but it was just the light, they are white and look like tiny fluffy things so I think is a fungel infection).

I got some meds at the fish store last night and a water tester so I stared the treatment and tested the water.

guse what! My sister gave me her fish so now I can mess with it all I want!=) (this is very good for the fishes sake)

I was wondering if you know how the fish would get a fungel infection so I can make it so it won't happen agan.

Fungal infections usually come from not keeping the water clean.

So is it black spots or white spots? Because you specifically said black spots above. If it is black spots, this should help: http://tinyurl.com/yjn52ca

If it is white spots, it's Ich. I don't understand why you won't just search stuff on your own. If you don't like google, then use Bing, Yahoo, Ask, etc. There are so many search engines you can use that ARE NOT google.
