Problem with Lolita?

Well now that I'm keeping a close watch on the new girls of the tank, I noticed Lolita seems to be swimming oddly...from what I saw, she seemed fine on Wednesday (yesterday I didn't really have a chance to look at them because I was out all day & night).

Well, to describe it...it seems like it takes her a lot of effort to swim down, though she starts to float back up. Mostly she's on the top of the water, sort of at her side, like she rolls over a little.

Could this be swim bladder? How can I make her feel better? Any help would be appreciated!

sounds like swim bladder, fast her for a few days.. you might have to put her in the breeding trap at mealtime

It sounds like swimbladder disorder to me, too.You might want to feed her some daphnia, if you can get some.

Okay, I'll go check Petsmart tomorrow or Sunday and see if they have any. What do they sell it as? Live, frozen, freeze dried?

Frozen or freeze dried. Frozen needs to be thawed before feeding and freeze dried needs to be rehydrated.

Okay, thanks. I will look for some freeze dried Daphnia then. If I can't find any, I'll go ahead and fast her. Thanks for your help.
