Ok, I have 2 lone hockey stick (sometimes called penguin) tetras in a large cichlid tank, there is no problem with them in there but they are the smallest and I wondered whether it would be better to put them in with my betta (to be) in a 5 gall,or would my betta prefer to be alone?I am sure it will make no difference to the tetras where they are

5 gallons should be left to one fish. Adding anymore would be overstocking. I would leave the tetras where they are, the betta will be happy by him/herself in a 5 gallon. :)

Give the betta the whole 5 gallons. :)

Bettas are typicly very active so I'm sure he'll be glad to have all that room!
