New Betta!!

So I went to petco to get a 20 gallon long tank for my corydora's and I found this gorgeous double tail betta and I just had to have him! Now all I need is a name... lol

Also I set up the new 20 gallon long tank. Also got some sand that I soaked it about 8 times and its still murky but was wondering if I could put the corydora's in or should I wait for it all to settle? Pictures are of tank. The water tested fine for everything so it's just the murkiness I'm not sure of.

I put him in the tank about an hour ago and just now noticed his colors seem darker. Is that normal? lol

Your Betta is gorgeous! It's okay for him to be a bit darker, sometimes their colours fade a bit if they're stressed. Cpu;d be because of different lighting too.

Is your tank cycled already? Anyway, the murkiness is probably just dust and residue from the sand that hasn't setteled yet.
