my new betta

since late this morning my sis has noticed that he has been at the top of the water near his heater. whats that about??

my betta used to hide near the heater. He may just be gettting close to his surroundings.

here are a few pics of him we have named him sushi. do you think he looks ok? i am beginning to get a bit worried that he might be ill. :(
also should he have his fins "clumped" together like that??

agian he is just still floating at the top of the water doing nothing?
