An Almost Disaster....

Okay, so heres how it went down....
Yesterday I'd taken the few fish I had in my first 10 gallon back to my LPS, took down the tank, did some filter modifications, set it up again with a few things....basically setting it up to be an eventual spawning tank(bare bottom and whatnot), even though the breeding for me might be a little ways off....can't hurt to have is and prepare things right? Anyway, to keep the tank cycled I put Supernova in. Then I remembered Smore was in his little bowl still and I decide 'Hey, why not put him in on Supernovas side of the divided 10 gallon until I can get him his own little tank?' So thats what I did.
Everything went well, Smore seemed a little overwhelmed at first but none the less seemed pleased and Sasuke on the other side minded his own business.
Doing a few things with the dogs downstairs, come upstairs to find Sasuke on Smores side. My immediate reaction was, of course ' Crap.' and to remove Sasuke immediately.

Upon close inspection, no one was hurt besides maybe a small nip or two on Sasukes fins(which I find funny because Smore is easily half his size). Sasuke is now in a bowl and I turned the lights off in the tank as Smore looked completely terrified....though he was unharmed. Smore is now sitting at the bottom of the tank, obviously quite stressed, and I'm preparing a salt bath for Sasukes fins(he'd ripped them on the plants before, I'd ben giving him daily salt baths anyway.)
I'm concerned about Smore because, even though he wasn't hurt, seemed to be WAY more stressed then Sasuke. I suppose theres nothing I can do other then keep the lights off and hope he doesn't die of sheer fright? I just don't want to loose him....

He'll probably be fine in a few hours. That's a good idea to keep the light off for awhile. I'm sure he'll be ok, he's just scared. When he realizes the "danger" has passed, he'll perk up.

Yup, looks like everyones cool now....Smore as resumed begging for food and greeting me, though is still a tiny bit skittish. Sasukes will stay in the bowl for a little while until I get to fixing the divider, finding out how he got through and stuff. Though right now I need to concentrate on Max....seems my moms betta isn't in such good shape. I've had to commandeer him
