Okay, so I really, really wanted a bottom feeder for my 16 gallon. I've been going back and forth about it. My friend at Petco convinced me to try out 3 emerald corys. After a big to-do with trying to get them acclimated to tank, I put them in with grumpy Tango. At first I was worried. He seemed to be chasing them around. He flared, he put on a big show. They just kinda hung out together in the corner. Then I saw him just swimming around them. Not flaring or anything. I swear it seemed like he was trying to hang out and fit in.
They're VERY active little guys. I didn't know what to expect but they were high energy in the store. They shoot up almost to the top and then they all arrow back down to the bottom to land in a pile. Anyway, so far so good. Tango seems interested in what they're checking out but he's not huring them at all. He almost acts like he's playing with them.
