Vito is dying

My beautiful double/crown is dying and I don't know what I can do for him. I think it is too late now. I came home from visiting my mom in the hospital and he was floating mouth-uo. Now he has sunk to the bottom his gills are barely raising and he is on his side. I wish I could have done something

Thank you, both. I'm really bummed. He's the first of my "rescues" to not make it. He wasn't right from day one, but I thought he would get better.

Sometimes you lose them even when you do the best that you can. At least he died being loved and cared for.

Sorry you lost your buddy :(

I'm sorry about the loss. Be happy though. He got a glimpse of true happiness before he died, and he didn't die in a tiny cup. You made a difference in his life, even if it was just a small thing. RIP, Vito.
