Exclamation Not eaten for 5 days

I got my new betta male last saturday, he ate maybe 1-2 pellets and a bloodworm on the saturday and he hasnt eaten since. i keep offering him food he has a look but just turns and swims off.

im not sure if he is a bit stressed out also as his back and top fin are quite clamped together and the bottom fin split 2 days ago as well.

i am currently using a ting dose of melafix to try and help his fin.

i dont want to loose him cause he is sooo pretty

This usually happens with new bettas. He may still be getting used to his new home. Also, some bettas can be picky and you may have to try a different brand of pellets.

Your betta may be sick or he may just be cold. I remember your other post and your pictures. Is he bloated at all? You may want to look at raising the temperature to about 80 and see if that helps.
