wall mounted tanks?

I don't know what to think of these wall mounted tanks- they're only 4.5 inches deep- I suppose it depends on what kind of fish people put in there.

Don'

$800 for one of the big one's, wholy cow!

I don't like this idea... There is so little surface area for gas exchange and it looks like it would be a pain in the butt to clean.. The filtration system can't be all that big either so it will be high maintenance..

Thumbs down in my opinion.....

Does it look cool? Yes.
Does it seem like a good home for fish? Not at all.

In my opinion, this would be a much better idea if it were a "virtual" tank, using animated images of fish and plants rather than forcing the real things to be confined to such a narrow space.

I was thinking and thinking and I finally figured out what it reminded me of- an ant farm! Its like an aquarium with the dimensions of an ant farm. And yeah- in the video they ask if they're hard to clean but the guy said they're not- but these guys always say that :P I can't imagine it can be very easy to get one off the wall for cleaning without making a mess or being in danger of dropping it. hrm
