Question what can i use to plug the hole in the bottom of a flower pot?

i have heard that some bettas can get their heads caught in what can i use to plug it?
any suggestions?

You can use aquarium sealer.

You can also put them standing up. They still sleep in it, and love it. :)

I use a little piece of sponge. Cut a little piece off and jam it into the hole. Mine always stay in (make sure it's big enough to be a tight fit) and you don't have to wait for silicone to cure.

Edit: make sure it's either filter sponge or a plain sponge with NOTHING added to it.
