Alright, so I'm going to try my hand at a story....though I doubt it will be as amazing as TianTians tails, I'll do my best ^^;
So in the wake of Shivas odd and sudden disappearance, I went to my local fish store with the intent to try and find another female that may be compatible with Supernova, or(if I was lucky)Smore.
...Only to find no females in site. Not one. Bummed, and moved over to the male betta shelf. There weren't many left, mostly VTs, and not one betta looked heathy, eye catchy, or happy....however I looked through every betta curiously, just as I always do. And then, I spotted him...

There was no thinking about it, no pondering, he was coming home with me. There was just something about the way he insisted on facing me, even when I tried to turn his cup to see his body and fins....
So I picked him up and began carrying him around as I went to get supplies, help a woman diagnose and get medicine for her sick goldfish(as the employee on duty was clearly incompetent and very unhelpful to her), and then he sat in the outside pocket in my purse as we made the trip into the grocery store next door.....all the while seeming fascinated with what was going on around him. It was just plain adorable!
My mom thought I was nuts, but I got him anyway
I think with a lot of TLC(which I'm more then willing to give)he'll be absolutely stunning. AND after he's been cleaned up a little, he'll make a beautiful match for Phoenix
Right now hes in a heated, non filtered 5 gallon that I bought today along with a silk plant and a clay pot for hiding. My dad just informed me that he wasn't able to fix my spare filter, so he'll have to go without for now....but, for the most part he seems pleased and I'm more then thrilled

Yes, I can't wait either. xD I look forward to seeing how he'll heal and progress. Already he seems happy with his new home and decided he likes to hide in the big leaves of the silk plant, but will come out to great me x3
