Exclamation White/clear stuff on 1 of spectrums eyes?

Okay so i came home from school today and when i looked at spectrum he looked a little bit pale and so i looked at him from the top i noticed that there was some white/clear stuff on (not in) one of his eyes?! It looks like a 1 mm long milky white clearish bar that then at the bottom is wide and covers his whole eye??? BUT when he has that eye facing me it doesn't look cloudy. What is wrong with him? And when i put a mirror by his tank he quickly swims from the reflection?!

That just happened to our little guy about a month ago. It was clear on both eyes his eyes were alittle big but not bad like the popeye pictures i see.Jess looked up the info and I used some aquarium salt and i used the betta fix for 7 days and his eyes began to clear up in 1 day. Then after 7 days you do a tank change. He was doing great but after being away for almost a month now i came home and i think he was neglected and has another bacteria infection. CRAZY how much you fall inlove with them! Goodluck with Spectrum

it said one teaspoon per us gallon, its on the back of the bottle. I used 2 and 1/2 for my 5 gallon. if you have a filter we used to add the teaspoon where the water downpours from our filter to blend it in. I hope it works for you -L:)
