Oh cool! 8D It's in down town Northfield and it's called Aquatic Pets.

here is the link to the address and number: http://www.aquaticpetsnorthfield.com/

She has VERY beautiful Bettas. Not many bettas but they are LARGE! their fins are full and I see hardly any tail biting and sick ones. Even though they are in large bowls, (not heated) the fish are active (I think) and the store is always nice and warm. The only reason why I never bought a betta from her was because most of them are blues and reds only. ^^; Me, I like the unique looking ones.

She was closed yesterday for Halloween and I will be called her store soon to check if she has Nitrite snails and if she can special order them for me. =)

So the lady was able to special order the Nitrite snails for me!!!! WHOOO. they will be at her store on Tuesday.

If you feed properly and don't leave decomposing material in the tank you won't be plagued by snails... Believe me, I've kept all four varieties I suggested.

Nerites would also work great. I forgot about them though hahaha.

Gotcha! Yeah I will be getting my snails Tuesday. I have spots of algae building up in one of my tanks and I figured to bring back snails in my tanks. I tried A mystery snail but it died when I transferred it into a smaller tank to test to see if they were making more of a mess in the tank.

=) and no problem. sandybottom

GOOD NEWS! I got my nitrite snails today and they are moving around the tank like speed demons. Hehe The lady at my LFS ordered them for me and had them ready for me when I sent to her shop. <3

i absolutely love all dozen of mine.they have only one draw back imo, cleaning up their eggs.when the females are happy they decorate the tank with them. easily taken care of by scraping them off of the glass with a credit card or other plastic scraper.they are certainly fun to watch. my kids really enjoy them. have fun with your new addition.

Hahah I figured I would have to clean up after them with the eggs. =) It's really cute though, Sardine (was Mojo) looked at his and just watched it for a long time. tonight he started to get excited from the mirror and after he was done he started to flare up at the Snail but didn't attack it. ^^
