Swim Bladder

I recently bought two males from Petco to live in a divided 10 gallon tank. The Halfmoon double tail seems like he may be having swim bladder issues. He was off kilter last night. He does look much better today, in the spacious tank,. He has lots of real plants. I read about aquarium salt, but because of the plants, I did not add any to the tank. I did put a small amount of in his betta cup with him. I also gave him a skinned pea cut into tiny pieces. He ate at least half of it and even has a tiny bulge in his tummy. He seems skinny to me. Any more advice will be appreciated.

My dt will do this if I overfeed. I really have to pay attention to how much he gets.
But honestly I just fast him for a day and he's back to normal.

unfortunately, though he ate the peas, he could not recover what petsmat did to him. He died three days after I bought him.
