Feeding on Vac.

Is there a food that I can put in the tank for when I'm gone? I though I saw something that you can attach it to were they eat at and it will release a few a day for them? I'm going to be gone for about a week and half in July for my brothers wedding and I was wanting to get something I can put in the tank for him. If not I guess I will have to see if a friend can stop by after work and feed him.

Those slow release blocks are no good. Half the time they don't recognize it as food anyway and it'll just dirty your tank and since you'll be away you don't want to come home to a dead fishie. Bettas can go a week without food, so maybe if you could ask a friend to feed them once a day every other or every 2 days. Again, you want to keep the water as clean as possible until you get home.

i have heard so bad stories of the time release feeders that that put to much food into the water and the fish dont eat it all so excess ammonia is produced. and as stated above the feeding blocks are no good either. jus have a friend stop in one or two times to feed them
