Lol. Well, winter is pretty snowy and cold here (compared to Windsor), but it it gets really warm in the summer too. It's kind of all over the place. :P

Hmmm I got my fish from Petcetera, Big Als and a tiny aquarium store in Orleans, Ottawa called Fish Tail Aquarium which is a REALLY nice friendly store (It's run by these two dudes who I think are friends XD They're also a hella lot cheaper than other stores, so I really like shopping there. They're currently moving locations to a bigger store and will be up again on Saturday.) They told me they can talk to their supplier if I was looking for specific types of betta fish (since I was looking to buy a HM before I found Aros at Big Als). :O You might be able to get a double tail there! Other than that, Big Als randomly gets fancy bettas in. Like they had some HMs, and now they have a bunch of Fancy Wild bettas.

Lol Urgh I hate winter in Ottawa with a passion... SNOW IS NOT COOL Dx lol bad pun. Lately it's been a bit chillier since it's fall, but the summers are pretty warm... although I'll admit, this year Summer sucked xD All it did was rain...

It doesn't get dark that early up here xD If you went farther up, maybe, but ottawa is still pretty normalish :P

When I lived in Germany, it would get dark at 5:00pm. I mean pitch dark!

Although I know that in the summer in locations so high up north, the day light hours are longer than night hours so I guess it kinda balances out? :P

My brother used to live in Greenland and it was light 24 hours in summer and dark for 24 hours during winter. I couldn't stand that.

I've never heard of Petcetera or big Al's...I got Bambi and Lolita from the petshop in Bayshore and Aigis and Gloria from the Petsmart close to St. Laurent... I wanted to check out Fish Tail aquariums, but I've had soo much school work that i haven't had the time to go out...

I'm still new to the area so it's kinda confusing, lol. Ottawa is so big. :P
