Long story short: I was at Wal-mart, saw a container with the grossest yellow/brown water I have ever seen and a rotting plant in the cup. I felt really bad so I took him home. I was kind of in the hurry, but when the checkout lady saw his water she told me that she was going to talk to her manager about the person who "takes care" of the fish. I hope she does, but I'll be going back to make sure she did and talk with the manager myself.
As for what I can tell, he has fin rot and a bad case of popeye so I got some fungus clear and he's in a 1 gallon critter keeper with some of that, bettafix and salt. I'll be doing 100% water changes everyday.
Since I have salt in the keeper itself, should I still do salt baths?
Here is the best picture I could get of him that shows off his problems. He's shy and really small. I don't have a name for him yet! I'm hoping for the best with this little guy.
