river rocks

Hi everyone,
We just purchased our second betta...a female..yellowish in color. We are hooked already.

My question is - is it ok to put small river rocks in the bottom of her tank? She's small right now so I wasn't sure if she would get stuck or not...please let me know your thoughts.

I've found that the females are quite stupid about getting stuck in things! You could put a thing layer of small rocks over the river rocks to cover the holes.

Yeah, what doggyhog siad. It happened to my old female before, wedged herself between a layer of rocks and the vase...don't know how that happened.

my female also wedged herself in there a few times... but shes stopped lately lol.
