Unhappy I have a tail biter...

Yes, I finally caught little Tonto nipping at his tail today. Any suggestions on what I should do for him?

I have a tail biter too. I put him next to pretty little Ivy, and he is still chomping down on it...

I don't know how much there is to do for them..

I think I read somewhere that a salt bath every once in a while helps with regrowth, any experience with that? Also I might move him into his own tank soon. I think he may be stressed because he's pretty aggressive and can't get to Sunshine on the other side of the tank.

Oooh he's in a divided tank? Mine was biting A LOT when he was next to another male. That might help to have him by himself, or next to a Female..

I have a tail biter myself, and, unfortunately, he's just extremely aggressive. The only thing I can do for him is keep his tank light off and give him a couple salt baths every other day.
