Question really small female

Hi, I purchased a new little girl today at Petsmart (named her Macey)
I ask the associate how old she was but I think this was her first day on the job ha ha
She just said she didn't know exactly how old she was....she's very tiny. Compared to most females I've seen, she's the smallest. I just hope nothing is wrong with her. She looks great (from what I can tell) she is very alert.
Is it normal for some females to be REALLY tiny?

Thanks!

She's probably young and that's why she's so tiny. Some females stay rather small and some get pretty big. I think your female is probably ok. She'll probably grow in a couple weeks.

Thanks Dramaqueen.

Aslo, it's hard to tell what color she will be. She looks kind of yellowish with some red. I just wonder if her color might change as she gets older?

She might. I also have a tiny female who looks like she was just past the fry stage when I got her. She's got some red, green and blue in her. Some days its hard to tell what color she is. lol I'm sure she'll change color as she gets older.

Bettatalk.com has bettas for sale sometimes. The fish are rather expensive, though, but they're beautiful.
