I never did get a shot of Felix's bubblenest, and unfortunately my CT's got ruined when I cleaned his net.

I have noticed bubbling in my cycling tanks. I just drained the 5g &
it had bubble layer produced from the outflow of my filter.
I would not worry about destroying bubble nests unless you are
breeding. It happens, they make more.
Sometimes it is the water, sometimes it is the fish.
I have high ph in my 5g & it is cycling, so in this case
it is the water.

You should totally get a foam cup and cut it in half and let if float on the surface so he can build his nest underneath! I did that with Shota and Aros and Shota really loves making his nest in it xD sometimes when he's on a building spree, the bubbles will spill outside the cup O_o;; He also gets really angry if you disturb his nest xD; When I clean his tank and accidentally destroy it, he'll seemingly pout and not go near the cup for a while until he wants to build a new one xD

Well, first off, Mikey.
The bubbles are small.
And, if there are no plants inside the tank, they are usually found around the rim of the tank.
I think I have a couple pics of a bubble nest in one of my albums.
Sorry, its hard to describe.
