Talking Introducing...

Marina! I went to Petsmart looking for Flourish Excel .... and left with a beautiful little blue girl. She does have some white horizontal stripes and looks little larger in the belly than normal females...but it doesn't look constipated. She was sitting right next to the male bettas when I found her.

She's got the sweetest personality! She is acclimating right now and she is trying to chase the bubbles in the tank around her cup and can't understand why she can't go after them. She is just a sweetheart!

Pictures coming soon!

Well I released her awhile ago and she is soo active for being a new betta in a bigger home than she had. She is doing a ton of exploring and she's swimming around zipping back and forth and chasing bubbles.

Okay so I think she has stress stripes, but it's okay - it's normal I guess considering Petsmart was a wreck today because their system died last night and they lost 3/4 of their fish and had a lot going on. She's doing really well :)

Congrats on the new girl!! She sounds like she's got a cute personality. After she settles down she'll probably color up a bit. Mine had stress stripes after bringing her home but they went away after a few hours.
