He is definitely a doubletail, but he isn't in full flare in the pictures, so it's hard to say whether or not he is a halfmoon doubletail. Seems close from the shape of his fins. We'll need a picture of him flaring to tell you for certain. He needs a 180 degree spread in his tail to be a halfmoon doubletail. Really pretty marble colouring though. Good find. :)

it was a lucky find. i was originally going to get this pretty turquoise VT but rainbow was right next to it and he looked irradesent so i had to get him.

he hasn't flared at me at all so i was just guessing. i even tried putting a mirror in front of him and he didn't really react to it

Yeah. His top and bottom fin should be held up more in full flare. He does seem like he could be a halfmoon though. His tail is pretty wide.

well Petco told me he was but i know they can be wrong so i just wanted to know for sure

These two know better than me, but he looks like an HMDT to me. My DT's fins weren't half as full as this pretty marble boys.

There is a possibility that he's HM but with the way his edge's curve outward, he could be a super Delta as well. So, would just need a good flare pic to really know :)
