I got a new ten gallon tank!

We... "new." my friend used it for her daugters gecko forever ago... so im going to soak it in water and scrub scrub it.

I get paid next week, so I'm going to set up live plants and everything and get a sorority going again :D

So i set up the tank today!!
I bought EVERYTHING i needed, minus an air pump, but ill get that tomorrow.

I got the substrate, the filter, heater, plants (amazon swords and some white ribbons, and some banana floater that was too cute to pass) and this really gorgeous cave/wood deal.

Im gonna let it cycle for a bit before I put some bettas in there.
I ran it for a few hours and I put one of my platys in there (She's always picked on, so she's loving having a whole ten gallon to herself)


At petco there were SO MANY gorgeous boys there, there was a VT that was all white, except his face was greyish. I almost got him, but i have no where to put him =/
and they actually had double tails, ive never seen them at petco.

Once I get the girls in there ill post some pictures up :)

I got my girls!!!!
Two are basically identical blue vts, I call them The Twins. Turns out one is the most dominant, and the other is the least (so far)
A red cambodian vt, has a bit of blue at the base of her fins , shes the biggest, and she could care less about the other fish. She is unnamed.
A light irredesent blue female, she seems to be in the middle so far, she is unnamed as well.
And last but not least, a red CT, who seems like the second from the top, aaaand she's unnamed.

Ill get pics in a few, if i can find my camera. haha.
