I broke my promise....(story time? x3)

I made a promise to myself that wouldn't get anymore bettas after I got Kovu. I don't have the time, money, or much space......but I did it anyways ^O^

I got the feeling I would after I saw this really pretty veiltail at my LFS and also after I got this super cheap tank at wal-mart (which I plan on taking back >> ). It's just that both of my bettas are in my room, but I spend a lot of my time in the basement/ rec room, watching tv, playing games, and being with my cats. I felt like there was a void down there. At first I thought it was because the walls are bare, but no.....I needed a little special buddy down there x3

So I'd like to introduce my newest addition! I never did get that super pretty VT I saw last week (already taken) but this other guy won my heart<3 Compared to my other two, he's the most active and healthiest right at the start (there's a little splitting and curling in the fins but whatever)! =D He's a red peachy colour, with specks. His fins are red but they end with a translucent white. At the right light, you can see he shimmers a turquoise colour. I love him so much! He's exploring a lot right now even though I only have one silk plant in there :P He's also has a spunky aggressive nature about him. A little shy, but not as reserved as Kovu and not quite as insane as Caesar xD He's my happy medium<3

I felt bad for him on the trip home though. It was really cold today and traffic and the bus were crazy loud and bumpy! D: But he's a trooper and is doing just fine in his 2.25 gallon tank :3 I also have no heater in there but the tank temperature seems to stay at a even 76F. Plus I have a lamp over the tank to help anyways.

So I'm sure you'd like to see him now! Lol, he has no name yet, but I think of one soon enough!!

@Vikki
Thanks<3
He's in a 2.25G "Living World" plastic tank.
It's the same shape and everything as those sad looking 1/2G "betta kits" you always see, but just bigger! I have the same one for Caesar and a 3.3G of the same for Kovu c:

@dr2b
Thank-you!
I know, isn't is adorable? x3

The pumpkin is hilarious. Good thing it's facing the camera or you might have a flaring issue, it made me wanna flare! >G<

I hear you on the bus deal. I brought home the 5g & 25lbs of substrate. I really wanted to do some other things but the weight of the substrate killed my plans.
