Fin disease?

There've been 2 weeks since I bought my betta and lately I observed that the tips of his fins are just like those in this picture:


BTW my betta is just like this one, a Betta Splentens, same colors. I can't remember if his fins where like this from the beginning..

Should I be worried?

Well, you should definitely keep an eye on him. But for now...I would just do that. If the tips of the fin are just brown without any degradation, it may be just what they were like naturally. If you notice any funny fraying in his fins you should try salt baths first..then try medicine if that does not work.

They are blackish and somewhat transparent

well, it sounds like if they are transparent then they could be s;ightly butterflied fins. I have a betta who's fins are like that at the end.

just keep a good eye on him just in case
