first ever betta

well, I went on Thurs to get my Betta, all the new ones had come in , with the idea to get a black crown tail( which they didn't have) but they did have about 10 stunning ones, a beautiful minty green one which was quite big so I wondered if it was quite old, and a lovely super delta (I'm told),red/blue/green,which is the one i got,as soon as he was released out of his bag after acclimatising, he was off eating the few glass fish I put in at the same time, and swimming around and around his bi orb, don't seem to have any problem with magnification, must be its position, Iv been trying to get pictures but he never stays still, or reverses his swimming its like trying to photo a carousel hobby horse,,he hasn't flared at anything yet, not even the big Easter island statue that's in there,!he seems to like his tank, hasn't been in the pot yet and has rested now and then on some leaves, and has managed to get between rocks down to the gravel!! but Im wishing I could have got the green one as well, as soon as his personality shows ,Il be picking a name, firecracker comes to mind

You reminded me of a little three year old boy I know who loved green popsicles but could not pronounce green yet. Whenever asked, he would always repeat; "Want the geen one, want the geen one!"

Giypsy wants the geen one too! He sounds very handsome.
