Angry Not about bettas but Grrrr!!!!

OK, so my younger cousin is getting this for her birthday. It is one of those
"ecosystem" things. I tried to nicely explain to her that it won't work and that the frogs will die from stress etc. It just makes me mad!! I can't explain it to her because I'm really afraid I'll hurt her feelings and well... you know. It just makes me MAD!!!!!! Sorry, Rant over.

Not to mention that container is waaaay too small for one ADF, much less two. :/

Maybe you can suggest getting a 3 gallon or something for her birthday instead? That way she can get two frogs...but hopefully she realizes that nothing can take care of itself, animals do need some care...

Yeah, I don't want to be like all bossy and telling her what she needs to get because I might get in trouble, but it's worth a try. :)

I would just very gently suggest a 3 gallon. Maybe get her excited about the extra room to put decorations and stuff.

Good luck trying to get her to do the right thing. Petsmart also has a really neat tank that is about $26.00 with a little filter they come in different colors too. Maybe you could show it to her and say something like you know if you get a tank like this it would be really cool and you could decorate it.

Man I am sorry you could not confince her. Is she one of those people that thinks she knows everything and you can not tell her anything? Just try not to say I told you so when her little guys get sick or even worse die.
