Cholla Wood is a great natural decoration and provides the perfect place for shrimp to hide. Can be put in pleco tank for them to chew. You can also attach Anubias, Java Fern and moss for even more decoration options. I use thin filament fishing line.
Cholla was collected from Public Lands in NM by people who hold a permit to harvest Cholla. They ONLY take down, dead skeletons and pay special attention not to harm or disturb any live plant or animal in the area.
Straight sticks are $1.50 and approximately six inches in length. Shipping is $3.50 (including tracking) for up to four. If you want more, I will use a box and shipping is about $6.50. A few branched are available at $1.75 but I can only get three of those in an envelope. PayPal with payment for "goods;" no "gift" payments.
The Cholla has been rinsed with clean water. I would suggest you boil it for a 3-5 minutes and then soak in treated water before putting it in your tank. Cholla will float until completely saturated. Attach moss or plants after Cholla no longer floats.
Please PM if you are interested or with your order.
Below the sticks are examples of soon-to-be-listed decorative stumps and roots. The photos are deceiving as most are suitable for tanks from 1-10 gallons. When I list them I will give dimensions as well.
