Has anyone tried Indian Almond leaves to lower pH? Maybe someone who has bread bettas?
I have low very low KH (almost 0 in my tap water) and GH and when I try to buffer it my pH goes up, anywhere from 7.2 - 8.4! I've been buffering with baking soda but plan on getting a proper buffer, probably Seachem's Alkaline Buffer. I heard that peat and wood will help to reduce pH as well.
I like what I've read so far about the leaves, but would like to hear from someone with experience.
