Is there any problems with my fish tank because i just got my betta fish ?

Umm I don't know what I'm looking for but I can say that it is a little small. I recommend upgrading the tank to at least 2-2.5 gallons with a heater(keeping the water around 78-80 degrees F). Make sure you have conditioner for your water. Also, how big is that and how often do you change the water? In a 2 gallon you should so a 100% water change once to twice a week.

Yeah I know pet stores can be really misleading, but you will definitely want to upgrade to something of at least 2.5g with a heater. Save that tank though, it would make a great planted tank (perhaps a few cherry shrimp?) once the aquarium addiction hits you!

Not to mention his tank is rather bare-you'll want to add a plant and a hiding spot or two.

yeah the people who design tanks like this are really just trying to make money off you- so they propagate the idea that the betta doesn't need as much space as other fish- that way they can use less plastic- and charge more with the 'designer' appeal- but they don't really have the needs of the fish in mind- and such a small tank is really limited in the ways you can decorate it- most cool little statues and caves won't even fit through the opening. And the fish will soil such a small amount of water really fast- you'll be cleaning it out every 3 days.

yes the fish is lovely- nice green- he'll look even better with a nice light on him

if you want something a bit bigger but still inexpensive you could get a big critter keeper- they're also good since they have a lid- betta often jump out of their tanks

actually i just put a plant in and its 4 gallons of water it doesnt look like it though

Are you sure it's 4 gallons? Maybe it's 4 litres? That would be about 1 gallon.
