?? questions...Help???

Down the road if i do breed my bettas, I was thinking on giving one to my teacher. she has a whole bunch of awsome fishin her classroom (like guppies in tank one, mollies,tetras, and alge eaters in the other) Please tell me what would be compatible with them.

Guppies: I've heard that because they have long, colourful fins, Bettas will attack them.

Mollies: I have no experience with these, unfortunately.

Tetras: Neon tetras and such are fine, though some forumers here say that Bettas can eat them?

Algae Eater: Big no-no. They get very aggressive later.

my female is in with a molly and she was really mean to him in the beginning- and still chases him sometime though they usually get along- i think an aggressive male would probably chew up a molly- and my female is kinda vicious- your teacher friend could maybe set up a sorority with females that were from the same clutch- they would might get along better than random females do

i have mollies with bettas and they do great, maybe im just lucky, but ive never had a problem. also, it depens on what type of algae eater it is.......chinese algae eater is a no go. aggressive as jupiter said, i wouldnt put them with neons unless they are full grown like at least an inch, but me personally i wouldnt trust neons with them. guppies, no way....

I would not do that exept with a very docile female- I ave a few who get along really well with my guppies and cherry barbs, but some just DON'T!!!!! depends on their personality!
