So here is my betta tank its a 10l with the dimension of 20x20x25.
The plants here are just 1 pot of java fern and some remainder of my anubias nana.
The stone in the centerpiece is called lava stone.

Yeah. That will work. You might want to get some Hornwort or Anacharis or Wisteria or Frogbit or some other floating plant that would consume ammonia. This is a small security measure in a small tank. Floaters are good places for Betta to hide and sleep and they provide shade.
+1 Hallyx on floating plants. Mine love swimming through the Water Lettuce roots and sleeping in the Cabomba.
