I went to Petco today to get another female to put in a divided tank with my other female. My sister saw her and I instantly fell in love! In the little cup she was blue and her fins were clear and as soon as I put her in the tank, she started turning red and her fins are pinkish redish so she must have been very stressed and now she's showing her colors!

I can't wait to take pictures to show you guys. I'm not really sure on her name yet...my sister wants to call her Bojangles, so that's def OUT.lol

I was wondering...if it seems like the females are doing good together in the tank with the divider, could I try to put them together? I wouldn't immediately let them both go free, i'd keep one maybe in a net to see if they start attacking? I know you're supposed to do a sorority with 4 or more in a 10 gallon and my tank is a 2.5 gallon so it's probably too small, but I just thought I'd ask.
