You guys were right. :( He bit his tail again. I'm worried about him. I have a few questions regarding tail-biting.

Why do they bite their tails?
Can you make them stop?
Doesn't it hurt?
Will a salt bath help?
How long will it be before it heals?

I'm giving him a salt bath right now. I hope he stops when he gets his bigger tank.

Nothing is helping. Will it take forever to heal? He's on bettafix AND salt. I don't know what else I can do. Help please?

There isn't a lot you can do. Just keep his water very very clean so that infection doesn't set in. It would be a good idea to get a girl when you get a big tank!
