Well, I am new here, and have certainly been bitten by the betta bug! Ive had countless bettas in the past, but I took a break from the fish hobby. 10-11-09 I got a beautiful red female betta splendens. Her name is Elaine <3
She lives in a small bowl, but I didnt have anything else to put her in at the time. Im working on setting up my five gallon for her. Im sure she will be happy in there. Here are some pictures...Btw, I plan to get a lot more bettas really soon!





I would also love to see pics of your bettas! I am a great fan of greenish-blue colored crowntail males...never had one, always wanted one :/

I have a Greenish/blue female VT and my moms greenish/blue/red Double tail....but no CT in that color, though that would indeed be awesome

When I went there, they just had her and a small white/purple piebald female. She had film over her eyes and swam a little "tilted" so since this would be my first betta in...a year or two (Ive have 5 at a time, but I took a break), I figured she would be a better choice.
Ive seen a few blue-green CT in petco and petsmart, but back then...I think I had four bettas xD I think next month I should have her aquarium fixed up and I will be searching for another...
