Akiro

I went to petsmart last night,and ended up coming home with a betta (I got him because I think he has a sceletal condition, and he is not that active suggestions would help) any way he is quite beautiful. His name is Akiro, and he floats to the surface when he is not swimming . Again any suggestions would help. I feel bad for my precious veiltail, and as as his dad, I want to do what is best for him. I shal post a picture of him as soon as I can.

also he dosen't eat, that may be beuause I only had him for a day now.

Seems to me that he has Swim Bladder.
Symptoms:
Either floats uncontrollably to the top of the tank, or sinks to the bottom.
Seems to struggle greatly while swimming, and often will swim at an unusual angle.
May or may not have a "kinked" spine, often in the shape of an "S" when viewed from above.
May lie around, barely moving except when a mad dash is made to the surface for air.
Swollen belly.

Fast him for a little while.

Hmmmmm I think thats it too that is all of his symptoms. When will he get better???

Sounds like SwimBladder. My Carmella has problems with it a lot. I usually fast her and tank her out of the tank. She usually recovers and is active again, but it's happened quite a lot.
