So sorry to hear that. Not sure about tearing down the tank but it sounds like you should because you don't know what got your little guy.

Yeah, I ended up taking everything out, washing it with vinegar and rinsing a billion times. Better to be safe then sorry.

I'm not sure what I'm going to get next. I think I'll go to a different store and see if anything catches my eye, rescue or not.

I'm going to be getting a new fish this weekend probably. I'm going to do it sort of backwards, I have a name, I just need a fish that fits it!
