male food

it might be a classic question
when spawning, after picked up the female n left the male to take care the eggs, what food do you gave him?
i've searched this forum n always end up with feeding fries
if someone posted it, could you give me the link?

Regards

I believe most people don't feed their male while tending the nest.

feeding him while he is nest tending may increase his appetite and encourage him to snack on the babies. if hes well conditioned, he will be fine without food for a few days.

When the babies become free swimming, you can take the male out and feed him.

I fed my male to keep him from eating his eggs. I guess it really depends.

I think there's conflicting advice about it. Some say to feed the male to prevent him from eating the fry and others say that feeding the male encourages him to eat his fry.I say use your own judgement.
