Not bettas but lots of Gourami babys!

I wanted to share with you guys that my pair of honey gourami had lots of fry. I removed dad and mom as well as the pair of peacock gudgeons that share the tank to another tank to make sure they do not get eaten. I plan on giving a few to my sister for her tank, a few to my brother in law for his tank and the rest I will trade for store credit at the LFS if any of you guys would like one or 2 I will send them to you if you pay the shipping. They are really tiny so I could not get a picture yet but if you imagine a small dot on a piece of paper that is what they look like. LOL

yes i think bettas and gouramis (excuse my spelling) are from the same family, which is why you shouldn't keep them in the same tank

They are from the same family but you do not have to keep the pairs apart like with bettas. LOL I do not keep mine with my bettas they are in a community tank.
